2.1 Pwned!

Recently, a new hack to jailbreak system firmware 2.1 has been relesed! It puts cydia and installer onto your iPod touch or iPhone, as well as having the App store! It is a very big leap in apple hacking. For some of the hacking programs, you can select your own boot and recovery logos. I had mine as the pine apple.


New iPod touch 2G

Theres a brand new ipod touch that has a new, sleeker look, and a much needed built in speaker! The latest ipod touch also has built in support for Nike+, Longer Battery life and volume control buttons on the side of the ipod! We are still working on jailbreaking it, which may take some time. With the speaker, voip will be a dodle.


iPhone 2.1 Software Update

The new iPhone software update is out! Ment to be a good one i've heard. Sounds like apple are trying to keep the hackers away. This ones going to be a tough nut to crack! But when they do, having the appstore, and installer will be totally sweet! With improved battery life, this may well be the best update.


iPod touch named gadget of the year

Griffiths reports for Reuters that Apple has swept the board at Britain's T3 technology magazine's annual awards, winning four top prizes, including gadget of the year for its iPod Touch.

"The touch-screen music and video player beat the Asus Eee Pc budget laptop, TomTom's GO 920 car navigation system, Sony's HDR-TG3 compact camcorder and six other devices.", Griffiths reports.

T3 Editor Michael Brook said Apple had "nailed the mix of style and usability" with its latest crop of gadgets.


iPhone also named 2008 gadget of the year

After they tallied the votes, iPhone came up a big winner in the 2008 British Technology Awards. It not only claimed the award for Gadget of the Year but won the Best Mobile Technology, Most Stylish Technology, and Technological Innovation of the Year awards, as well. iTunes also won honors, seizing the Best Music Technology award for 2008.


iPod Support in 58% of U.S. car modles in 2009

Suppli reports that more than half of the car models in US to be realeased in 2009 will have at least optional iPod surport built-in.
The report says that this is due to continued demand from US consumers for the past few years to provide improved iPod Support in their vehicles audio/video systems.
